A pleasant role at a good company - a rhyming poem. |
| Some office work to stimulate, Make money as I do. I never seem to come in late Or ever make them stew. Concern for tasks to get them done, So now l'll key it in - Converse to spark some lively fun While conscious of the din. But still this job I'm paid to fill Supports a helpful cause. And never will my boss instill A most reserved applause. She views my functions with a hand As calm and sweet as I - And as I greet each new demand, It's rare she sits close by. As long as I stay at this job, I earn some due respect; For never do I seem to throb - No headaches to detect. Just being true and sanctified To try to do my best... Employer truly satisfied, I wake to now get dressed... |
