I am part of the group--it is part of me. |
| The Walking Group begins its walk at dawn; both exercise and social amity. Fortuitous this group I came upon; I like the fact it stays a part of me. I told it to a member of the group; he said that, rather, I am part of it. I did not mean to throw him for a loop, but being, “part of me” does seem to fit. For morning camaraderie appeals; the joy of others ‘round me is all right. And when we walk, I like the way it feels; along with morning, it’s an inner light. So pardon me for phrasing turned askew; the Walking Group inside of me rings true. 14 Lines Shakespearean Sonnet Writer’s Cramp Winner 8-28-16 |
