Leaving Home

Leaving home can be heart wrenching

"You'll be back, I know you will."
Jason stared at her, his big brown eyes saying what words could not .
She nodded, the huge lump in her throat restricting speech.
Her eyes gazed at the mountain she loved; the one she saw each morning; wildflowers swaying, begging her to stay. .
She grabbed his hand and brought it to her lips.
"I have to try this Jason, please understand, I'm so sorry."
