| The October sun – rays of white light on green leaves, autumn winds linger. The city’s darkness - a hairy fat rat jumps up; red coiled eyes waver. Where bamboos spire, in the ancient realm it lies: sprout the greenish-brown. Rocks, sand, and water – in the middle of nowhere, pebbles on the beach. Blowing in the wind: neighbor’s washing on a line before the rain falls. |
