A Girl and Her First Date.
Bethany goes to a public school, she is in the 10th grade. Bethany is a good student, with a lot of friends. she likes the usual stuff, makeup, doing her hair, going to football games.

There is this one boy in her school, that has a crush on her. His name is Carlos, he's a quiet boy. He watches Bethany as she sits in class, when she looks over at him, he smiles. She of course smiles back. leans over and says hi.

At lunch time she notice him sitting at a table alone, Bethany walks over and sits down by him. They start talking, and find out that they ride the same school bus, and have a lot in common. Bethany introduces him to some of her friends. They all hang out.

As time goes on and the day to day things that go on in school, Bethany and Carlos become best friends, until one day Carlos wants to be more,
He approaches Bethany and asked her to the school dance. Bethany looks at him, smiles and says yes "I thought everyone was going this weekend".
Carlos says" I want to go with just you" not as a group. Bethany is speechless, she stands there for a few minutes, and finally answers Carlos. She says yes I will go to the dance with you.

So things start to get serious, they end up dating for about a year. and then suddenly something goes wrong. One of Bethany'
s good friends decides that she likes Carlos. so Anna starts some trouble with the two of them. Anna starts telling lies to Carlos. And of course Bethany and Carlos start to argue. and this goes on for awhile. until one day Bethany decides she doesn't want to deal with things anymore. she decides not to be friends with Anna anymore and breaks up with Carlos.

Bethany is heartbroken, not understanding why her best friend would do something like that. and not understanding why Carlos would believe Anna.
