I created a problem for myself and lost all hope to solving it.
Round and round it spins
Like mount Vesuvius calling me to a halt
I turn around as it begins
Racing towards the closing of the vault
I am young and tender like the best of sins
Cant find the truth until it is a fault

How do I explain my past mistakes
Who can forgive me all my deeds
And watch me rise again well baked
With no past and no misdeeds
I wish I could turn back time as I wake
And grow anew to a new me

I look back with tears in my eyes
All I can ever ask is why
Why did I let myself be deceived
By seductive words being received
If I could change,maybe I will try
And be renewed in other to achieve all that I could only see in my dreams

Away from all the turbulence of life
Into a place where I can lay it all down
At the feet of him who gave his life
So that I would have no cause to drown
Forfeited his life with meekness
So that I can live a life with gladness

This life I receive with joy in my heart
Looking not at the things that are seen
but at that which cannot be seen
Believing against hope
that there Indeed is Hope
And knowing that Christ in me is my hope
