A letter I wrote to a friend to first show them my writing. Not to them, just for them
NOTE: Please read "I Wish You Were" as a name and then again as a phrase. It is meant to be a play on words of sorts. I hope it isn't too confusing.

Dear I Wish You Were,
I Wish You Were, a kind person I had longed to meet. I Wish You Were, sunshine and intimacy that doesn't need words to speak. I Wish You Were, someone who could consume my nightmares. I Wish You Were, beauty that loves me when I am bare.
How have you faired? The last time I saw you, I called from your porch to say, "I Wish You Were, here." When you leaned in close to kiss my lips, I had to hiss, "I Wish You Were, not here and not now." You left that night with a scowl.
I Wish You Were, someone that I miss. I Wish You Were, someone I did not kiss. I Wish You Were, tears, I never had. I Wish You Were, a reason to not be sad.
Please, take me back. I Wish You Were, all that I never had.

                             Who You Are
