My thoughts on life after you.
As I lay, I lay awake, feeling every breath you take, as I sleep, I don’t sleep well, trapped here in your perfect hell. Your mind it tells me we’re meant to be, your actions show me, we’ll never be. We part ways like life and death, I lay down, I finally rest. Though I love you, with all my heart, I know it’s best we be apart. I want to fight it, I want to believe, but the truth is proof, you weren’t made for me. Happy endings, fairy tales, are nothing real, in your perfect hell. Unanswered question, did you ever love me? I won’t pursue, I’ll have to continue me without you.
