A poem about how love can feel. Posted here with permission by Dreaming Big Publications. |
| My Name Is Love Hi, my name is love. How do you do? If you don't know me, you will soon. I will take your heart then I’ll grind -it down Soon you will regret that I was ever around. I will raise you up then I'll let you down I'll make you laugh then I'll make you frown You'll curse me and put me away then you'll call me back and beg me to stay You'll ride my merry-go-round. You'll be up in the sky then down on the ground. You will love the world, be raised up to the Golden Gate. Then all you will feel is a burning hate Yes, my name is love, a feeling you can't resist! But it's not my fault because without you I wouldn't exist.
