A newspaper is left on the bus
|Written for "Whispers Of The Soul" with prompt "Write a poem inspired by one of the following images. (I picked a newspaper sitting on what I think is a bus seat.) Forbidden words: storm, cloud, sea; newspaper, news, events. Additional parameters: poem must include at least two rhyming couplets."
Paper lost in a busy world,
Neatly folded, corners curled.
Patiently you sit on the bus,
Though abandoned, you made no fuss.
Waiting for a new reader's touch,
Ready to teach them oh so much.
I pray you find them very soon,
For at the station is your doom.
