Thoughts on God's creation & the beauty of the world.
I take the time to recline in a little hammock on good mornings, reading my Bible and daily devotionals as I swing back and forth. When I am finished, I enjoy the rising sun and watch a gentle wind blow through the trees. Though they've lost their leaves now, it still amazes me that the breeze that brushes my face is the same that makes the trees sway.

Who else but God could make the wind blow?

Who else but God could form that beautiful, clear sky?

Who else but God could make the birds sing their pretty songs?

I reflect on His work in the world around me, and a smile crosses my face when I think about that same powerful God loving me and helping me change my life. In the midst of tough times, it is these quiet mornings when I feel closest to Him. I pour my heart out and share my troubles, then take the time to seek His comfort in the beauty of nature.

For those in tough times, who may be suffering or worrying- take the time to be alone in a peaceful place with Him!
