Amidst the ancients, a soldier's out of place,
A dark world of history in his face.
As weather turns stone to clay,
Their home, long astray.
like vile snakes,
To feast on the day.
Joy, a universe away,
When lost lovers did briefly embrace,
Amidst the ancients, a soldier's out of place.
