How I feel about soldiers at war.
Picking up the idea that somehow we can win,
easily hurting others from within a soldiers whim.
Standing shoulder to shoulder, beside our souls exposed.
Widened, opened ..... once again from remnants of a war.

If I stay and live to tell others of these days,
I only hope there's things to say which could open up their eyes.
Instead of madness, blood and guts these men have shed for war.
Paving ways for future times and building better laws.

Years from now when I'm old and grey and my children are the age I am now.
Will the thoughts of present people look back into the times,
When thousands of men with hearts of steel have asked, just is it so,
that many men do fight a war for men they'll never know.
