life

this is the way I see life right now.

Life is all but dull and gray,
The thoughts in my head,
No, the nightmares they never go away,
I have no one to blame but myself,
No one to listen, and no where to turn,
I am truly alone.
Even my own God has turned his head from me,
I started out with the intention to be,
Happy as a lark with a special little bird,
But that didn’t stick around long enough to be heard,
Now I’ve made my own little home,
Without very far to go or roam,
my day is filled with people who are fake,
all they want is to take and take and take from me,
now I have nothing lift to give,
nothing to offer,
fighting to live.
I know they wont be here for me,
When I need them,
They will run and flee,
Like so many others they will run away,
And all I can do is sit here till the end of the day.
