A poem written for the Pink Fluffy Unicorn Contest. 14 lines
Pink fluffy unicorn *Horse* prancing in my head,
You helped keep me laughing *Rolling* through the things of life I dread.
When my smile turned upside down *Sad*,
I would close my eyes to watch you dance around.

You were always
pink, not red,
With me hiding in my bed.
Your hair so soft and fluffy,
Better than a cute, sweet puppy *Dog2*.

Though now I’m getting older *CakeP*,
And life is as hard as a boulder.
I can think back to the time *Clock*
When you were more than a simple rhyme.

In my childhood you were born, *rainbow**Rainbowr*,
I love my
pink fluffy unicorn *Horse*.

14 lines a cross between free verse and a sonnet, I think, if that is possible.
