Knitting needles, crochet hooks,
piles and piles of craft books,
not to worry, they're her toys.
Hat for a soldier before he deploys?

Knitting needles, progress on hat.
How will she deal with Saboteur Cat?
Every evening there is much she reworks
Out goes the cat? No, she loves his quirks.

So she must be satisfied
to keep the lid on her knitting box tied,
'cuz the cat somehow made his way
into her heart, or so they say.
