For those that fear they have drifted to far from God. He is always near.

Here I stay, day after day.
As all could see I lost my way
The pathway faded, so I pay the price.
It was only once, well, maybe twice.

My mind cries out into the dark.
I’m looking for light in which to park.
God is my light that I cannot see.
I have turned my face, never to be free.

My heart is heavy, so full of tears
Afraid to search, the pain just sears.
I know to look but still I fear fate.
What if God says sorry, it's too late.

But God stands close, always near.
I have only to turn and never fear.
There is the light that chases the dark.
I am now free with God in my Heart.
