Inside my mind is the darkness,
the sweet grim abyss,
please leave me to my darkness,
I'm at peace with this,
it inundates my psyche,
it claws at my heart,
it shows me that it needs me,
it tears me apart.

I must avoid the bright light,
I cannot leave this,
I cannot just walk away,
from the sweet abyss,
nothing else matters right now,
nothing, only this,
there is nothing that makes sense,
but this sweet abyss.
