This article is about space cities and how they can be a possibility.
Space cities might be a possibility if we have the infrastructure for building a city on earth and then floating it in space. Such an infrastructure would require a lot of imagination, effort and planning. The basic materials required would have to be assembled and put together in a given time frame. The entire structure will have to be ported into space. Such structures can be built again and again, assembled and then ported into space again. Such colonies can be built in space and people may inhabit them eventually. Basic necessities such as food, air, and water will have to be provided. The space colony can be placed in orbit around the earth. Lighting will also will have to be provided inside the space colony for all day and night. Landing space for incoming and leaving spacecrafts will also have to built.
