I feel the flame anew, and so do you...

I miss your face, exclamation
And I struggle with the question
Of why I continue to dote on you

         I'm enchanted by your shapes
And sure as sugar you keep me guessin'
How it feels to more than photo you

I am touched by your softness
Making me hard-pressed in obsession
To stop stopping to say hello to you

         I'm confounded by your sweetness
And hope it's not your mission to be messin'
As if my craving is a joke to you

Tormentation! When you call to me.
In thrall, I offer confession
How tough it is not to go to you

I remember how you always delight me
And now there is a rekindling progressin' -
I feel the flame anew, and so do you

In my weakest moments I miss your taste
And this hunger has my tunnel vision stressin'
For satisfaction I dare not show to you

I give in to thoughts of you, honeycakes,
Because apparently I never learn this lesson,
Little Debbie, of how to say no to you.
