This is a short poem about truth, love, and roses
TRUTH
has morning pockets
filling the empty side
of my heart, as I nod
in dreams, held captive
to a dying love
It's a grave motion to keep
the old letters, time seals
its closing fate, promises
to dance us, a musical
play in the fields of light
sometimes even in the dark
every kissing note planting
an imperfect delivery, I sing
when I water black roses
