The Write Life

I submitted this to a writing competition. I created it to show how it feels to write!

Writing is the boxer in the ring; never satisfied until the knockout is achieved.
It is the runner; high on adrenaline and "in the zone"
It is the dancer; getting ready eagerly for the big performance.
It is the chef; playing with savory flavors to create masterpieces.
It is the passion of the soul; it is the flight of birds as they fly.
It is the language of the spirit; it lets the inner self peek through.
When you write, you become new; you begin again. Everything is new; nothing is forbidden.
When you write, you set your soul free. It's just you and the page in a passionate heart-to-heart.
Writing is a way of life; One must write!
