Promptly Potter. Day Twenty-Three.
The serpent is at the lion's throat
The lion will fight back
The serpent fights with clever, sly mastery
And will give the lion no slack

The lion pounces the serpent's hopes
The serpent won't go down without a fight
The lion fights with bravery and strength
And will show the serpent its might

Two mortal enemies, the lion and the serpent
Locked in battle for centuries
They'll meet on every battleground
On the grass or in the trees

The lion and the serpent will fight until the end
With every generation it begins anew
It's an endless, bloody rivalry
Both will show the world what they can do
