Poem about my experience at a church youth function.
The Loner went to a party one day.
She was tired of just sitting in her room.
She had studied and wrote all morning,
And she didn't have a horse to groom.

She didn't expect to stay long.
Group things were, to her, not much fun.
Besides, she doesn't know anyone well.
But it would be nice to be out in the sun.

Then, something unexpected happens,
Or at least in this woman's life.
And it all starts at the beginning
From the kindness of a man's wife.

The Loner learns that groups are not bad.
In fact, they are very cool.
That lesson is much different.
Than what I learned in school.
