Odds

We should not care about Odds of success or failure.Want to do something,just go for it :)

Every time I try to do something
I hear whispers in my ear
No way I would succeed
Whisperers have this fear

The whispers told me
"The odds are not in my favor"
and the thing I am trying
Can't be done by me ever

The odds of me succeeding
is one in thousand they say
I chuckled and said "I am glad
I'm in luck, God answered my pray"

Whisperers thought I am going mad
How am I lucky? If the odds so bad
They asked after knowing the odds
Why am I so glad?

What are the odds of having the universe this way?
What are the odds of having the sun we pray?
What are the odds of having life on earth?
What are the odds of me taking birth?

Compared to all these odds I'll say
I am too glad I am in luck today
