Wants to be anonymous as a child

It's funny but its true indeed
As a child
To grow up to be Anonymous
Is all I wanted

As the most alluring and pleasant poems
The funniest and deepest stories
The wisest and enlightened sayings
Comes from pen of thee

My little mind could not comprehend
How can such talent be encompassed
How can someone be so wise
Walked on earth in disguise

I grew up and understand how
Naive I was to have such icon
I want to make my name now
but some part of me wants to be forever anon
