A short and light-moving poem that's rich in iambic feet and rhythm from start to end!
This poem, that flows and rhymes,
    must throb with rhythmic time
to the beat and the chimes
    of each line on the dime;

it must have lines and rows;
    that move with good metre,
to feet of highs and lows
    that's nice, tight, and neater;

it, too, must be short-writ
    with not so lengthy song;
so restless ears hear it
    in notes which don't prolong.

    (Alas!—so, more than less)
'Tis then to end this rime
    with a farewell address:
"Adieu! Another time?"
    I ask—so, please, nod “Yes!”
