A spark and a tree.
A spark and a tree.
Fire licks at the wood, biting and tearing.
It climbs and consumes, taking this.
Taking that.
The wind rushes through, meeting fire.
A spark flies, lands.
Another tree in flames.
The wind breathes indifferently.
A tree here and there, no matter.
They are gone in seconds.
The whole forest a wall of flame.
Roaring in anguish and pulsing fury.
A thing of beauty, wonder.
A thing of horror, destruction.
One spark and they are all wiped out.
Look now, nothing but ash.
No more tree.
No more spark.
