Technical Word Count

Word count=type of writing

When writing, length does matter. My original novel was 120,000 words. Most new writers are ignored if the submission is over 100,000. We trimmed the excess, verbiage to under 98,000. Most of it was just grammar or over used of words.

Here is a good list to keep you on goal. This isn't a hard fast rule. Write to your hearts content then check to see where you are wordwise and find your niche. There is a place for your writing, never fear!
