Letter to my love
You walked into my life, during my biggest heartache. I was at my lowest point in my life and you came in and gave me the love, I always wanted. You provided me comfort and happiness. You lifted my soul and did not let go. You fell for me and I am still unclear why you did. In the beginning, all I did was bring trouble, into your life. I made it difficult for you to love me, but you were still there you have always been there. You made me feel like I could love again. My nights became shorter and my head became clearer. You became the drug that I searched for to drown out my pain. My thoughts of you became so intense, every day I was with you. My love has grown so strong and my heart has been aching since you have been away from me. The longest I have been away from you has no hold on how long you have been gone this time. Everyday becomes smaller and smaller. I cannot seem to find my happiness again. The laughter and love we bring to each other feels as though it is diminishing and becoming no more. It frightens me. I need that comfort of your giggles and your goofy ass smile. I need the warmth of your body when we are cuddling together at night, to keep the nightmares away. I need the silence of the room when you patiently talk to the little ones. I need the long conversation to keep me from my thoughts racing. I need you and the gentle touch of your hand to help me feel like I am not alone in this fucked up world. You make me happy with all aspects of you.
