Finally she has found me.

After everything, I want to cry.
She says she has waited long, settling for no less than I.
I have felt so alone, forgotten, betrayed.
She says she shares in my pain.
I try to explain her away.
She keeps calling anyway.
I keep telling myself she isn't real.
She says the world around us doesn't feel.
A connection in this world is what I have sought for years.
She slides beside and wipes a tear.
