When you have someone to love, it's the greatest feeling

Entwined
By Teresa Blakely

I love to sleep with your feet entwined with mine,
your body pressed into me, as we snuggle,
your arms wrapped around me keeping me secure.
We drift off to sleep in our own little world.
Dreaming of long walks and places we'll go when we awake.
Entwined together as if one mind, one body, one heart,
with whispers of tomorrow.
As I move, you tuck me back in,
as if I was trying to get away.
Neither of us awake it is so natural to be as one.
My darling I slept so well,
you holding me as we entwined ourselves together.
Never to fear of being apart.
As the sun rises on our new day,
waking to what was a beautiful night.
Knowing that our day together will be greater with each other in it.
We smile at one another,
Entwined in each others arms
