When you have someone to love, it's the greatest feeling

Entwined
By Teresa Blakely

I love to sleep with your feet entwined with mine

your body pressed into me, as we snuggle

your arms wrapped around me keeping me secure

We drift off to sleep in our own little world

dreaming of long walks and places we'll go when we awake

Entwined together as if one mind, one body, one heart

with whispers of tomorrow

As I move, you tuck me back in

as if I was trying to get away

Neither of us awake it is so natural to be as one

My darling I slept so well

you holding me as we entwined ourselves together

Never to fear of being apart

As the sun rises on our new day

waking to what was a beautiful night

Knowing that our day together will be greater with each other in it

We smile at one another

Entwined in each others arms
