Shine a light...

Before Her
World revolved
Unknown Universe
Elements evolved
Among stars
Found her place
Celestial voids
Filled with grace

Sky was born
Clouds formed
Miles below
Earth warmed
Rain fell
Seas swelled
Banished cold
Rivers flowed

Sunshine,
Puts a smile on Her face
Sunshine's
Her favourite word to say
Like Sunshine
Chases clouds away

Life took hold
In many shapes
First dinosaurs
Eventually apes
Who worshipped Her
Never truly knowing
They’d be extinct
Without Her glowing

I found Her
Seems by mistake
I wasn’t looking
‘Til I saw Her face
Lit me up
Illuminated me
I was blind
She made me see

Sunshine,
Puts a smile on Her face
Sunshine's
Her favourite word to say
Like Sunshine
Chases clouds away
Sunshine

Sunshine
Sunshine
Sunshine
Sunshine
