I used to be dead in my skin,
numb to the angry darts of this world
unable to do more than just survive;
that was before You whispered to me.

You whispered my name,
calling me to Yourself,
holding me through it all;
Your love rescued me.

Through complete surrender,
I gave You all my troubles,
my hurts, my scars and my fears;
You took them all away without question.

You gave Your life for me,
rising again on the third day,
and showing Your true love,
You resurrected me.
