No Matter the Cost

No matter the cost, I will follow You,
going wherever You may call me,
teaching others through my life, and
giving all the glory to You on high.

You have paid too heavy a price
for me to sit back and ignore,
a debt I could never pay on my own,
You chose to bear out of love and grace.

My one desire is to know You more,
to know Your forgiveness and love,
carrying it with me wherever I may go,
so through me, all can see Your light.

I gave You my heart and soul,
surrendering my life to You as Lord,
giving You complete control of me,
to lead others to the Cross you bore.

I spend my days in thankful praise,
grateful for all I have seen You do,
looking forward to what lies ahead,
knowing that You are there to guide my path.

No matter the cost, I will follow You,
learning Your ways and words,
teaching others about Your love and grace,
so they can have what You have given me.
