Very short romantic prose
You're as beautiful as the day I first met you...wait that's not quite right...the mother you've been to the boys, the wife, lover friend and confidant you've been makes you far more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. You still take my breath away when I see you coming. But like most idiots I've grown far too comfortable with my surroundings. I took your love and service and friendship for granted. I took the most beautiful work of art, placed it on the shelf. And though, I may have admired it and praised it at first, I forgot about it. I am truly sorry to have diminished what you are. And now as I sit amidst the rubble of my world about to loose the one thing that means the most to me, I fear that I've come to the knowledge far too late to save my masterpiece. I truly do love you from the depths of my heart and soul. You are the very air I breathe. I know that to be true, because I can't breathe now. I'm suffocating by my own ignorance. You're the light of my life. I know that because I'm in the darkest hour I've ever faced. If you'll consider, just for a moment, to give me chance to prove the depths of my love for you. I'll never again forget the the beautiful piece of life and love I've been given. Help me paint the masterpiece or our love again.
