Poem for Writer's Cramp 10.27.2017 (20 lines)Chunky Yarn, Needle size 25, orange, cardigan
|The smell of fall is in the air,
The color orange is everywhere.
The time has come once again
For the knitting fun to begin.
I raid the craft shop with blissful glee,
As my social life begins to flee.
My friends all know where I’ll be,
Happy, just my chunky yarn and me.
I grab my needle size 25,
In my hand, it makes me feel alive.
I take the rim of yarn a part,
Make a ball first if you’re smart.
When I look upon myself,
Maybe I could be Santa’s elf,
I know I am a skilled artisan,
As I begin to knit my cardigan.
When it’s finished I’ll smile and say,
It seems like today was a productive day.
That’s all for now, the fun is through,
But I’ll begin tomorrow with yarn anew
