Greettings holiday shoppers. Tis the month for mall madness, buying binges, and good will to all who stay out of the way.
This month's Feature is about quotes coming from blog entries. Witty or wise, a good quote can mean a lot to gaining popularity and followers. It might also mark the blogger and make them more recognizable.
Even with NaNo going on this month, there have been plenty of new or restarted blogs and interesting entries. Please check those out and let the bloggers know, maybe with a like if not a comment.
With the end of the year and holidays approaching, here's wishing you a spectacular finish and lots of fun. The last Blogging Bliss for 2017 is just a month away.
Keep on Bloggin'!
Is Your Blog Quotable?
by Wordsmitty ✍️
Blog recognition comes in many ways. It could be the topic. It could be a fascinating style. It could be wondrous information. It could be because of the blogger. It could be from unforgettable snippets that make a point so well others use them. In other words, it's quotable.
Most of us don't strive for making quotes. In fact, most quotes are spontaneous coming from the free flowing mind's creation based on how one phrases naturally. Blogs are great in this regard because most are just letting loose the ideas on a topic as they come.
"I like the way you phrased that" is often what one thinks about quote-worthy statements. I'm sure you've read something that made you stop after reading or had others tell you that about something you wrote. The more that read it and think that, the more it's on its way to becoming a quote that makes a reader think of you or your blog.
You might think of this similar to a title or introductory hook that catches and stays with the reader making the blog and author recognized. Writers can put a lot of thought and work into those. Perhaps you did the same with your blog or entry so that readers would remember it. However, a quote would transcend that and end up on one of those "quote" websites.
If you're interested, just do a search on "blog quotes" or "blogging quotes" and see some. Of course, your quote is probably more on a topic you're writing about than just about blogging, but you'll see what I mean.
Blogs may be restricted to Upgraded Authors and higher. These entries may have a lower content rating than the overall blog.

If you like a blog entry but don't have a specific comment, you can always click "Like" to let the author know. You can also see how many "Liked" and entry just in front of the "Comment link after the entry.
If you click on the number of likes (# Liked," it will show you who those members are. Comments can also be liked, but not the names of who liked them. Maybe that's good. After all, the blog entry and blogger should be the focus.
