This is a poem about time, change and the absence of those we have known.
There’s empty space
Where you used to be
I walk past that place
And it’s cold to me.

Where once was warmth
The sea’s gone cold
Where once was sun
The clouds behold

The world is dark
The sky is gray
The air is still
Empty space today.

There’s empty space
Where you used to be
I pass that place
It’s cold to me.

Where once was warmth
The sea’s gone cold
Where once was sun
The clouds behold

The light has failed
The sky is gray
The air is still
Empty space today.
