A poem written in Lyric form about the impact that symbols and images have on human life.
Symbolic Illusion – Hidden Meanings

Innumerable symbols and images surround
Messages with hidden meanings abound
Transmitting wave-form data into our minds
Through subconscious human perception binds

Indelibly imprinted as truth on our brains
These brainwave images one’s mind entrains
Thus, nothing is as it seems, as many have said,
But holographic illusions drive us instead

“Man’s mind is so formed that it is far more
susceptible to falsehood than to truth” 1
