Observation on a December morning
DECEMBER SUNRISE

Winter walk at sunrise on a cold December morn.

My eyes behold the glory crimson and gold Hughes.

Is this a gift for me alone sent from my God?

Has another seen the beauty of my own gift?

I'm in awe of the colors as they engulf my soul.

In spite of the cold that surrounds me, I feel warm.

Tomorrow will be Christmas Eve, this is for me.

A reminder of all that I am grateful for.

In spite of my loses, telling me to take heart.

I am never alone. Memories remain always.

I Needed that nudge on this crisp magnetic morn.
