A break would be so nice
From endless household chores
And feet as cold as ice.

Moms could use a time away
To relax their minds and bodies
If only to sleep away the day.

We get tired of always on the go
And playing twenty questions
Searching for answers we don’t know.

Even moms need a break
From constant fighting
And taking kids to the lake.

Just for a few times in our life
We’d like to sit around
Instead of trying to solve family strife.
