A prank gone wrong.

Blue Mask

A blue mask exploded all around
as leaves gently fluttered to the ground.
There’s no telling what flowered into
brisk fall air that fateful morning.

Slowly, it began to dissipate;
I see a small hole burst through
as blue started to envelope us and
all visibility was lost…again.

Sinister laughter filled the air as
evil manifested into our ears:
“Got ya!” I heard the words
in time to see another blue…smoke bomb.
