Dawning
Horizon
Offering me
Hope

Safe
From fear
From abuse
From vigilance

A fresh chance

Form: Lanturne (chained) - The Lanturne is a five-line verse shaped like a Japanese lantern with a syllabic pattern of one, two, three, four, one. I chose to make mine connect at the very beginning and end.
