Another sleepless night
With lights on too bright.

TV’s up way too loud
Sleep apparently not allowed.

How I wish for peaceful slumber
Not another sheep’s number.

Dreams so warm and sweet
My heart’s calm and gentle beat.

Too much on my mind to rest
Not good enough to be my best.

Let me go to sleep and dream
For tomorrow the sun will beam.
