What do yo do when you don't like the page?
Too many times I want to start over.
Too many pages I've flipped:

"This is the page."

Flip.

"No wait, the next one is slightly brighter."
"Wait. I just smudged it."

Flip.

'Chapter One: My New Beginning'

"No. That's too corny."

Rip.

"This pen feels weird to write with."
Flip.
"This page has a slight tear."
Flip.
"This book is too informal."
Flip.
"This is too much."
Flip.
"This is stupid."
Flip.

Too many notebooks, journals, ledgers.
Too many pens, pencils, markers.

I can't find a start.
There is no beginning for me...
Only now.
But now isn't the beginning.
There is no now.
Only an end.
But now isn't the end.
You can't start at the end if the end doesn't exist.
