God Speaks
When God Speaks
a quiet whisper
bring a river of tears
down my cheeks.

When God Speaks
the stillness, a beam
in my soul for comfort.

When God Speaks
he speak secrets
sounding tones, like
the birds that sing in a tree.

When God Speaks
the toils of Day,
the toils quietly disappear.

When God Speaks
a welcome praise to him,
for comfort and joy.

When God Speaks
a ray of light deepens, the light
that comes from heaven above
to light the earth.
