the second poem I wrote for "From The Ground Up" Poetry Class
Consistent number of syllables in each line {19 lines}
Tercets followed by a quatrain.

Two repeating rhymes and two refrains.

The first and third lines of the opening tercet are repeated alternately in the lines of the succeeding stanzas

The refrain serves as the poem’s two concluding lines in the quatrain.

2. stranger striding out of sight - b - 7
3. Grey dense fog without light - b/A2 - 6

4. blotting out the background lair - a - 7
5. forest vanishing from sight - b - 7
6. Darker now the rain wet air - a/A2 - 7

7. swirling cloak rests on her hair - a - 7
8. using cane to test the night - b - 7
9. Grey dense fog without light - b/A2 - 6

10. fog does tumble through the air - a - 7
11. moving on the ground so tight - b - 7

13. fog progresses without care - a -7
