a clown poem, slightly funny that is designed for kids |
| I stand amongst this crowd filled with with laughter and giggles children bouncing around while all the balloons pop, my striped suit has me stand out as the centre of attention my face all painted, big smile, red nose doesn't match my orange hair mop. Balloon animals from green snakes to pink poodles with face painting of the girls with butterfly cheeks and boys with spiders, sitting on the ground playing with kids, squirting kids, with the fake flowers while the parents watch and laugh till I drop the bag and create a small fire. As my tricks begin to run out, the smiles slowly begin to fade the party slowly begins to end as the sun begins to fall, I squeeze the wet towel in front of my face and smile turns to a frown no more smiles or children as I stand in the backyard then I get the call. Bobo the Clown gets to smile once again. |
