Taboo Words Contest
Grumbling echoes,
flow across the valley,
followed by dancing
white hot veins.

Mesmerized
I watch,
as the fingers of god ignite
flashes
of brilliance.

Kerplunk,
splat,
cold strikes my skin
and I shiver.

Patter,
spatter,
splatter,
the blacktop beneath my feet
glistens,
and shines
bathed by mother nature.

Line Count: 20
Form: Freestyle is similar to free verse except that freestyle has rhyme.
